Emilie Mellerio is a graduate of HEC (France’s top school of Management), certified gemologist and former student of the Atelier de Sèvres – preparatory classes for art and design schools .
After several internships in the field of luxury (Nina Ricci, Hermès , Shiseido ) , she joined the LVMH group in 2001 as Product Manager at Zenith Swiss Watch Manufacture, just after its acquisition by the group. She contributed to rebuild and strengthen the brand identity as well as to develop the strategy and positioning of the collection.
In 2003, she was appointed director of marketing ZENITH France and coordinated all marketing activities of the sub-company.
In 2005, she decided to join the family business – MELLERIO dits MELLER – the oldest French fine jewelry company that remained independent. First marketing director, she gradually became involved and responsible for the financial analysis, the internal audit and management control of the operating subsidiary as well as the holding company.
On 10 October 2013, 400 years to the day after the creation of the company, Emilie Mellerio is elected President of the Board of Directors of the family group operating subsidiary.
Married to a diplomat, she has lived in Hong Kong, Tel Aviv and New York.
