The World Diamond Mark® (“WDM”) is a not-for-profit organisation established in Hong Kong in 2012 by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses to encourage the health and future growth of the diamond and diamond jewellery industry in the luxury market.
WDM works to create consumer demand via a network of accredited retailers and marketing campaigns based on three core activities:
1) Educating the jewellery retail business community about diamonds and providing training through the Authorised Diamond Dealer® (“ADD”) programme.
2) Building consumer confidence in the diamond industry through the above Authorised Diamond Dealer® retailer accreditation programme.
3) Carrying out consumer marketing and promotional programmes in core markets for diamonds and diamond jewellery, in collaboration with local organisations and global service partners, with the aim of driving up diamond jewellery sales
